Terms of use
The rules for using effectkit.dev and its documentation.
Last updated
These terms cover the website and documentation at effectkit.dev. The site is run by Effect Kit Contributors. By using it, you agree to them.
The packages
The Effect Kit packages are open source and licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The license in each package's repository governs how you can use that code. These terms do not change it.
Site content
The text and code samples on this site are released under the Apache License 2.0, the same license as this site's repository. You can copy and adapt them under that license. Effect Kit names and logos are not licensed for use as your own branding.
Use of the site
Use the site lawfully. Do not try to break it, overload it, or get around its limits with automated requests at a rate that affects other visitors. Reading the docs with tools, crawlers and AI agents is fine, and the site offers Markdown and llms.txt versions for that.
No warranty
The site and docs are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We try to keep them correct, but they can be wrong or out of date. Check behavior against the package source before you depend on it.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Effect Kit Contributors are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, the docs or the packages.
Third-party links and trademarks
The site links to other sites, such as GitHub, npm and Effect. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Redis, Effect and the names of email and storage providers belong to their owners. Their use here names compatibility and does not imply endorsement.
Changes
We can change these terms. The date at the top shows the last update. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
